DOP - Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena
Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, with characteristics derived from over 12 years of aging in the case of the “Affinato” (aged) and 25 years for the “Extravecchio” (extra-aged). It has a full-bodied, robust flavour, a harmonic, intense and spicy fragrance and a high density. It is aged for many years in barrels made of high quality wood, using a special technique of transfer from one barrel to another.
Packaging: 100 ml bottle
Affinato: excellent in small drops as an accompaniment to hot meat and fish dishes, frittatas and vegetables.
Extravecchio: perfect with raw dishes, for cheese tastings or – as in the finest Modenese tradition – over large slivers of aged Parmigiano Reggiano cheese.
