Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP is obtained by the careful blending of selected wine vinegars and wine must, resulting in a mixture with is then aged in casks of different sizes and different woods, which give the product its characteristic aroma and flavour.
TRADITIONAL BALSAMIC VINEGAR OF MODENA DOP
Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena is aged for more than 12 years for the Affinato variety, and 25 years for the Extravecchio. It has a full-bodied and robust flavour, harmoniously intense aromatic bouquet and high density. This product is refined in casks of noble wood, using a singular decanting method and many years of ageing.
