Il Nocino Il Mallo is a sensorial journey into the taste of MODENA tradition. Il Mallo was founded in 1984 in MARANELLO, in the foothills of Modena, by Stefano Freno, who aimed to offer a showcase for that which in Modena is much more than a delicious liqueur, it is the very Symbol of hospitality: The NOCINO.

NOCINO Il Mallo is a perfect after meal Liqueur, served neat, cold or with ice, interesting when mixed and fantastic on ice cream. NOCINO Il Mallo RUM CASK FINISH: Nocino is left for few monthes in barrels where different rums have previously been aged. The different scents of Rum mix with the velvety notes of Nocino creating new and enveloping aromas and perfumes. Each production is limited.
MIXOLOGY & COOKING
Thanks to its personality and versatility, NOCINO Il Mallo becomes a special and recognisable ingredient both in reinterpretations of Classic Cocktails and in New Creations. Used pure or by reducing it on the heat, it creates interesting combinations in cooking, from appetizers to desserts.
MODENA FOOD & MOTOR
VALLEY
The first headquarters of Il Mallo was located in Maranello, at the foot of Modena hills, and its gates opened right in front of the historic Ferrari SpA legendary factory.
Enzo Ferrari himself, who was a lover of Modena products, used to buy some bottles of Nocino Il Mallo as gifts to friends and customers.It is in this province characterized by technological precision and fast engines that Nocino Il Mallo, like many MODENA food, finds the soul of its production in the slow passage of time.
